Chance to sing with a choir

From an acapella choir for all abilities, to weekend courses and gospel groups, there’s something for everyone:

Bellacapella Community Choir, Westergate Community School, Westergate – every Monday in term time, from 6pm – 7pm. The Bellacapella choir is open for all adults of all abilities singing acapella. No experience is needed, just enthusiasm. £2 per session. Call 01243 546800 for more details.

Lavant Valley Community Choir, Lavant House School, West Lavant – this choir, on Wednesdays, from 6pm – 7pm, is open to all adults, and sings a range of music from folk, pop and gospel.

It costs £3.50 per session, or £3 per week if signing up for the whole term. Email [email protected] for more details

‘Singing in Harmony’ adult singing weekend course - for adults of all abilities on Saturday October 1 and Sunday 2, 10am – 4pm on both days.

Enjoy learning a variety of styles of vocal acapella music including rock, pop, soul, gospel, world and even some improvisation. Tickets cost £45. Email WSMS for more details on [email protected]

Singers from across West Sussex have become part of the West Sussex ‘Ahead of The Game’ cultural programme by joining the Whispering Woods project.
