Crawley students bring Easter joy with donation to community group

Students and staff at Crawley College collected more than 70 Easter eggs for their local community.

The chocolate eggs were donated to community group ‘Spotted: Crawley’, to be delivered to local families in need over the Easter period.

Lisa Humphries, director of student services and pastoral support at the Chichester College Group, said: “Our student executive team were determined to do something special this Easter – and they have been collecting eggs for local organisations.

“Our colleges, including Crawley College, are a key part of our local communities and it’s important to us that we give something back to them.

“It has been a difficult year, so it is great to be able to spread a little bit of happiness where we can.”

Dan, who runs the ‘Spotted: Crawley’ community group, added: “It was humbling to receive support from the students.

“It’s great to know that the next generation are community focused and gives me hope for the future of Crawley.”
