The Women’s Centre, Crawley, won a major award at the annual SASH Star Awards event, held on Tuesday (November 27).
Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (SASH) celebrated the commitment and dedication of individuals and teams and the high quality care they provide at the annual awards event.
The Star Awards ceremony celebrated the work of nurses, therapists, doctors, support staff and recognised volunteers.
Awards were presented in 11 categories along with a number of long service honours for staff ranging from 20 – 45 years’ service.
The Women’s Centre, Crawley, won the One Team, frontline team of the year award – delivering benefits to patients, service users and/or colleagues through working together.
Michael Wilson CBE, chief executive, at Surrey and Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust, said: “It is a privilege to work with such professional, hard-working individuals and teams; every day I see the positive difference they make to the people we care for. I am incredibly proud of them and delighted to be able to celebrate their achievements at the awards ceremony.”
