Crawley young people aged 15 to 17 have the chance get free tickets to see the town’s football club play on Saturday (March 5) as part of the National Citizen Service Day of Action 2016.
The National Citizen Service (NCS) programme is an once-in-a-lifetime experience for all 15 to 17 year olds that builds skills, confidence and helps them get ahead in work and life.
Birtug Kazim, manager of the Crawley Town Community Foundation, which delivers the service locally, said: “Now in its fourth year, with young people from nearly 3,000 schools participating, its our ambition is to ensure as many young people as possible get the chance to experience and reap the rewards of NCS regardless of their background, ability or ambitions.
“With the backing of Government, participation fees are capped at £50, with financial support available on a case-by-case basis, this is a saving to you of up to £1,500 per young person and subsidised by the Government.”
On Saturday, which also happens to be the NCS National Day of Action 2016, Crawley Town Football Club will play Morecambe at home.
