Haywards Heath Christmas Lights 2023 in photos: singing, dancing and live music at traditional countdown

The festival took place at The Orchards Shopping Centre on Saturday, November 25, from 10am and the event was followed by Christmas Fireworks in Victoria Park at 6pm.

Haywards Heath town mayor Stéphanie Inglesfield and Father Christmas turned the lights on at 5pm to a huge cheer from the audience.

The town mayor said: “The atmosphere at the Orchards was wonderful. So many people had gathered for the entertainment and of course for the Light Switch On by Father Christmas and myself. It was so joyous to see such a happy crowd, ready to kick off the festive season. Thank you to the brilliant team at The Orchards for once again putting on such a successful event. It was so lovely to get the chance to wish everyone a joyful and safe holiday season and declare that the countdown to Christmas had officially started.”
