Horley care home welcomes return of local businesses

Staff from Wykeham House in Horley took to the streets and welcomed local businesses back to work this week with lovely individually wrapped cupcakes and treats following the long lockdown period.

To celebrate the return to work, staff and residents baked and prepared lots of freshly made cupcakes and took to the streets to deliver them personally.

General manager, Julia Christodoulides, said: “We love our village. We know how hard it has been for everyone, so we wanted to give something back.

"This was just a small way we could wish them luck and let them know we are thinking of them. It was nice for us to get out and have a chat with them too”

The owner of Cuts 'N' Clippers hairdressers said: “What a thoughtful and lovely surprise it was to receive them. Myself and my staff will look forward to enjoying them.”
