Littlehampton mayor Jill Long visited two street parties on Sunday before heading to Chichester Cathedral for a service celebrating the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.

In St Mary's Close, the street party to celebrate the Coronation was attended by 90 residents. It was opened by the mayor, who was presented with a bouquet of flowers made by Littlehampton Flower Club.

The children received commemorative mugs from the organising team, Eve Harty, Janet Rose and Wayne Donaldson.

Mr Donaldson said there were 16 tables set out with 90 chairs, hired from the friendly events team at Littlehampton Town Council.
