Luxury classic Rolls Royce up for sale at Sussex auction
A luxury classic car - a Phantom Rolls Royce - is to go under the hammer at a Sussex auction house this month.
The car, one of the first B-series Phantoms, is being sold by Bellmans Auctioneers in Wisborough Green and is expected to fetch £40,000-£60,000.
The luxurious black and yellow model is believed to have represented Rolls-Royce in the 1963 Earl’s Court Motor Show.
It comes with all the luxuries of its time and is equipped with a refrigerated boot, a two way telephone, privacy screen and even has fitted decanters and glasses.
It also has automatic headlight dipping which is rare for its time.
The car is said to be in good condition and has a 6.2 V8 twin carb engine with a 4 speed automatic gearbox.
The sale will take place at Bellmans on April 21.
