Two men have been arrested on suspicion of firearms offences in Crawley.

Raids were carried out at two addresses in Crawley by the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) at 7.30am on Thursday (July 2).

Two men, aged 26 and 37, from Crawley have been arrested on suspicion of possession of firearms under Section1 of the Firearms Act.

A third man, aged 41, was arrested in London.

Det Insp Mark Chapman of SEROCU said: “These warrants are part of SEROCU’s continuing pursuit of those involved in organised crime.

“Our work continues to disrupt the criminal behaviour and illegal activities by organised crime groups across the South East.

“We would like to thank the residents of Crawley for their patience while we carried out the warrants.”
