Motor group looking for apprentices


The search is on for more talented people to join one of Kent and Sussex’s biggest automotive group’s apprenticeship scheme.

The JCB Group’s Academy scheme is launching its second year of apprenticeships across a variety of disciplines including customer service, parts, after sales (including servicing and warranties) and sales.

The Learning Skills Partnership will serve as the learning provider for the scheme which will also allow the apprentices to gain a nationally recognised qualification, while earning.

A special apprenticeships recruitment day will be held at The JCB Group’s branch in Crawley today (Wednesday January 21) where any UK resident over the age of 16 and not in full time education can find out more about the roles on offer and get help with the application process.

All placements are available for 12 months and have the potential to lead to permanent employment.

“Our first year has been hugely successful and we’re really proud of what our current apprentices have achieved.”

You will need to meet the eligibility criteria to apply for an apprenticeship . The hours of work are 40 hours per week. A weekly wage of £109.20 will apply, the national minimum wage for apprentices.
