Motorcyclist involved in A29 crash

The fire service has attended a crash involving a motorcyclist on the A29.

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said: “We were called at 3.55pm [May 28] to reports of a motorcycle that had left the carriageway on the A29 Stane Street in Billingshurst.

“The retained crew from Billingshurst Fire Station were mobilised to the scene and upon arrival helped release one male motorcyclist from the embankment.”

Paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and officers from Sussex Police also attended the incident, he added.

The crew left the scene at 5.23pm.
