New data reveals tragic number of Covid-19 deaths in Horsham

New data has revealed how many people have died with Covid-19 in the Horsham area.

The Office of National Statistics (ONS) said up until June 5 (including deaths registered up to June 13) 112 people have died in Horsham with Covid-19 since the pandemic began.

They include deaths where there is any mention of Covid-19 on the death certificate.

Fifty-five people died in hospital, 47 in care homes, five at home, one in a hospice and four elsewhere.

In the same period there were 769 deaths registered, according to the ONS.
