New Seaford café to open in former Barclays Bank building

Flude Property Consultants said the building had a commanding corner position on Broad Street and will opened by a local operator who has other cafes in Bexhill and Eastbourne.

The property firm said the space was ‘ideal café opportunity’ – offering more than 2,000 square feet and being arranged over the ground, first and second floors.

Will Thomas, Flude Director, commented: “Having been occupied by Barclays Bank for a number of years, this was rare prominent corner opportunity which attracted a number of interested parties.

"As is increasingly seen with such high street units, it attracted mostly food led operators and is to open as a new café venture by a local operator who also has other cafes in both Bexhill and Eastbourne.”
