Southern Water apologises for water issues for Crawley residents

Southern Water has issued an apology following 'disruption' to water supply in parts of Crawley.

Crawley residents living in the RH10 and RH11 who may have had issues with their water supply yesterday (Friday, March 26) have received an apology from Southern Water

Some residents may still experience discolouration, the company has said, but the water is still fine to use.

A spokesman for Southern Water said: "We’re sorry for the recent disruption caused to water supply in the #RH10 and #RH11 areas of #Crawley. All supplies should now be restored.

"Following restoration of customer supplies yesterday, some tankers are still in the area adding water into the network while our services are fully repaired. Unfortunately these will be in place for the weekend.

"We apologise for any noise and inconvenience while they carry out crucial work to maintain services. Some homes may experience discolouration of water – it’s fine to use water as normal."
