Chantell Jenkins, 38, runs the Friday morning beginners class and her own class at Wannock Village Hall.

She said: “We’ve had people come along who might not normally try yoga, but, where they’re in the comfort of their own homes, they feel more comfortable trying it out.”

“Yoga is so important at times like these anyway. Any form of exercise can release endorphins and make you feel good, but yoga also works on the mental side of things.

“It’s relaxing. So during and after class, we focus on different things. It might be being grateful for what’s happening in your life at the moment, or focusing on the positives. That is so important right now. These things can be so scary, the worry can almost consume you. it’s nice to have that outlet.”
