Young Crawley fundraiser’s event to help terminally ill children

A young Crawley fundraiser is organising a charity event to help terminally ill children.

The Cherry Lane Adventure Playground will be the setting on Monday (August 29), noon-5pm, for the fun event to raise money for the Make A Wish foundation.

There will be food, a henna stall, face painting, bouncy castle and a visit from a fire engine.

Organiser Mahnoor Rafiq said: “I am fifteen years old and anxiously awaiting my GCSE results but I feel this cause is even more important as it improves the quality of life of children who are terminally ill.”

Entry is free.
