Police are hunting for a van driver who assaulted a lorry driver in Crawley.

Officers were called to the Cheales roundabout in Horsham Road at 11.51am today (Thursday May 29) to reports a driver had been punched.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said the van driver left the scene and the lorry driver had a suspected broken jaw.

He added: “The lorry driver did manage to snap a photo of his attacker’s van as he drove off.

“It is prominently signwritten and we anticipate that we will be talking to the alleged assailant in the not too distant future.”

Witnesses can call 101 quoting serial 551 of 29/5.
