Police identify fatal crash driver

A driver who died after his car was involved in a three car pile up on the A259 has been identified.

Abrar Ahmed Khan, 27, of Crawley, West Sussex, was driving a Vauxhall Corsa on the A259 Marsh Road between Pevensey and Bexhill when it was involved in an accident.

Two other vehicles, a blue Toyota Corolla, and a silver Rover were also involved in the accident at 11.25pm on Thursday (February 28).

Mr Khan died at the scene.

A man, also believed to be in his 20s, driving the Rover suffered serious injuries and a 42-year-old Brighton man driving the Toyota suffered slight injuries.

Three other people were treated in hospital for their injuries.
