Police say no offence committed after investigation in Crawley incident

Following a report of a woman forced into a car against her will in Crawley, police have concluded there is nothing at this stage to suggest any offence has taken place.

Police say that the incident is reported to have occurred in Ifield Drive shortly before 7pm on Wednesday (November 21).

However, a police statement says there will be no further investigation pending any new information coming to light.

The statement adds: “It is understood the report was made with good intentions.”
