Police warning after theft of emergency lights
A warning has gone out from police after a thief stole emergency lights set up after a road crash near Horsham at the weekend.
Police say the lights were put up following the accident in Rusper overnight on Friday/Saturday and were there to protect the public.
Officers took to social media to warn of the consequences. A spokesman said on Twitter: “The lights were there to protect officers and the public. I hope you remember that if you or your friends/family are ever unfortunate enough to be involved in a crash.”
