A planning bid to convert a nursing home which was closed after a flood into a house has been made.
Crawley Borough Council received the application to convert The Gables Nursing Home in The Gables, Ifield Green, on Wednesday (July 29).
The home was closed after 35 people were evacuated when it flooded on Christmas Eve, 2013.
C&C Planning Partnership Ltd submitted the proposal to change its use as a care home into a house in multiple occupation on Desai Rakesh’s behalf.
The council were due to determine plan CR/2015/0503/FUL on September 23.
