The design of a block of 91 flats planned next to Crawley Town Hall has been revealed this week.
Crawley Borough Council is working with developers to redevelop the town hall site to provide a new headquarters for the authority as well as three new blocks of housing.
An application for the first phase of the project, which would see 91 flats built on the two-storey car park to the north of The Boulevard, next to the town hall, has now been submitted to the council.
Back in June Councillor Andrew Skudder, cabinet member for resources, said: “What we are hoping for is that we end up with something that could be a cheaper option for us than doing up the existing building.”
