The leader of the Lib Dem Group at Horsham District Council has lost her seat this evening.

Francs Haigh was a councillor for Horsham Park, along with fellow Lib Dem David Holmes, who stepped down before the election, and Tory Josh Murphy.

Mr Murphy came first in Thursday’s council elections in the ward followed by fellow Conservative Connor Relleen, and Lib Dem David Skipp who contested Horsham Park instead of his previous Roffey North ward.

The seat was the third that the Lib Dems have lost tonight. They did not hold Dr Skipp’s vacated seat in Roffey North, while the party lost Broadbridge Heath to the Tories.
