The deadline for applications to start in reception at primary or infant school is midnight tonight (Friday January 15). Parents/carers of children currently in Year 2 at infant school should also apply for a place at junior school.

Nigel Jupp, West Sussex County Council’s Cabinet Member for Education & Skills, said: “Parents and carers who return their applications on time have a far greater chance of receiving a preference place then those who miss the deadline. So I would urge anyone yet to apply to do so as soon as they are able to.”
