Preparations for Remembrance Day in Bognor Regis

Remembrance Day will be commemorated on Sunday, November 9, with a ceremony and service at the war memorial, Clarence Road, Bognor Regis.

Wreaths must be ordered and paid for in advance from the poppy organiser, Mrs P Jeffries on 01243 825890.

Those not taking part in the march should be in position by the war memorial by 10.45am.

Two representatives of all organisations are invited to light refreshments at the town hall after the march past and dispersal.

Those organisations or individuals wishing to join the parade are invited to report to

the parade marshall of the day at Royal British Legion HQ, Clifton Road, at 10.15am ready to march off at 10.30am. The bands of the local youth corps will again lead the procession.

All organisations are invited to parade their standards. Medals will be worn.

Those in charge of the various units or detachments will need to be briefed by the Royal British Legion parade

marshalls regarding the precise positions around the war memorial.
