Pub raises £2,000 for charity
Pub landlords donated £2,000 to St Catherine's Hospice. Mark and Tania Davies (pictured), raised the sum at the Frogsdale Farm in Maidenbower over 2013.
They held weekly quiz nights, raffled off pub meals and sold a charity ale, Catherine’s Cask in aid of the charity. Tania said the pub’s regulars wanted to help the hospice. She said: “We wanted to do something local as opposed to national charities where you can be a drop in the ocean.” The donation was presented to the charity on Monday (January 14).
