Pupils see beach in miniature

Shoreham Beach First School took part in the national Big Draw event, which encourages people to get involved with drawing and art.

Pupils at the school in Shingle Road decided to go one better and make models of their houses on the Beach during half-term. These were then laid out on a map of the area.

Those who did not live on the Beach were asked to make models of buildings in the area.

Parents were then invited into the school to take photos of the finished 3-D map, which included the beach, roads, the Church of the Good Shepherd, the Old Fort, restaurants, the garage and the store.
