Raiders steal tablet computers worth £12,000

Raiders have stolen tablet computers worth more than £12,000 from a Crawley shop.

Police have appealed for witnesses after the break-in at Currys PC World in County Oak Retail Park just after midnight on Tuesday (March 22).

A spokesman for Sussex Police said: “Officers, dog handlers and the police helicopter carried out a search of the area but the suspects were lost sight of.

“It is believed they made off towards the Langley Green area. A number of computer tablets worth more than £12,000 were stolen, but some have been recovered near the scene.”
