RSPCA Autumn Fayre

THE SUSSEX East & Hastings branch of the RSPCA held an Autumn Fayre at St Martha's, Little Common, on Saturday.

Locals, enjoying a rare, warm sunny day, flocked to support this worthy event and, those in search for a bargain or two, had much to chose from with stalls selling books, videos, CD'S, toys, plants, baby clothes, home-made cakes and pasties.

In addition was the opportunity to purchase early Christmas cards & gifts, or buy a Christmas raffle ticket - which had a grand first prize of 200 '“ and refreshments were served.

Branch Chairman Mary Bristow said they had a good turn-out and raised 356 which she said was, "absolutely amazing."

This branch of the RSPCA encompasses a large area, and Mary said that they currently have many wonderful dogs and cats in their care, who are all in need of, "caring, loving homes."
