Rustington bag-snatcher sent packing with injury by plucky woman
A 21-year-old woman fought off a man who tried to snatch her shoulder bag in Woodlands Avenue, Rustington, at 7.30pm on Friday December 28).
Police said the victim was unhurt but may have injured the suspect’s nose in his unsuccessful struggle to snatch the bag, before he made off.
The suspect is described as white, aged about 21, 5ft 10inch tall, of slim build with broad shoulders. He has brown hair worn in a messy style and a stubble-style goatee from his lip down and on his chin, but otherwise is clean-shaven.
He was wearing a white round-necked, short-sleeve t-shirt with the word “BENCH” across the chest in blue, and was also wearing light blue straight-cut jeans.
