School bus on fire in Wisborough Green

Firefighters were called to Newpound Lane at 3.30pm today (Monday February 29).

A spokesman said no one was injured.

A small engine fire was put out with a hose reel.

Billingshurst and Horsham crews attended.

The Weald School tweeted: “There has been an incident this afternoon on the 504 bus (Hawkhurst Court and Wis Green.) There are no injuries and all students are fine”
