SCHOOL REOPENS AFTER OIL LEAK
CHAILEY Secondary School re-opened today (Monday) for all its 850 pupils.
The school was closed on Thursday and Friday last week when contractors building an extension found an oil leak in a trench.
As the leak was close to the water supply, the school was closed for the two days while samples were taken.
The water supply was later declared absolutely pure '“ and the students returned.
