CAR TREASURE HUNT: Sedlescombe and District Garden society next event is a car treasure hunt on Saturday August 29 organised by Rod Eldridge. All participants to meet at the village hall car park by 2pm with pen in hand. The route should last about one and half to two hours, but this will depend upon how good you are at answering the clues. The route will be finishing at a local hostelry for obvious reasons. By the way the police have been informed of the event and will be looking out for “stray and lost” motorists on the day. The cost will be £3.00 per car so you are advised to pack as many “knowledgeable” people in the car as possible as there will be prizes for first, second and third winners. The event is open to members and guests only so maybe this is the time to join if you would like to take part in the event? So why not contact Rod now on 01424 870983 and let him know you will be there, it should be a fun afternoon.

IF YOU HAVE AN EVENT: coming up in the local area or would like to have a small piece, outlining your club or organisation aims, activities, membership etc. then please contact me by email to [email protected] or by calling 870344. Please allow a couple of weeks notice before an event to allow for full coverage.
