The incident took place between 1am and 2am on 13 September in Victoria Road. Following an altercation, the suspect is alleged to have headbutted the victim, causing him to fall to the ground, where he was kicked in the back and chest.

The suspect then pushed his fingers into the victim’s eyes, causing a severely swollen left eye and burst blood vessels. The victim, who is in his 30s, also suffered bruising to his chest and forehead.
