Sing Song coffee morning

Bexhill Support Group for St Michaels Hospice held their first event at the weekend and raised Â£86 for the charity.

Thirty people attended the inaugural special coffee morning in Richmond Grove to enjoy music and song with the Iris Gillett Guitar Group.

Julie Brett from the hospice said: “It was so kind of the ladies to play and let us enjoy a coffee in one of their guitarist’s homes.

“It was a lovely morning and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the music. We had to limit numbers due to space, but we plan to hold a bigger event in the summer when we can use the garden too.

“I am so pleased that the people of Bexhill want to have their own Support Group for the hospice and I’m looking forward to further events after the New Year.”
