Snow: Gatwick Airport closed - update
GATWICK’S runway is currently closed due to heavy snow with no departing or arriving flights until at least 3pm.
More snowfall is expected for much of today (Saturday).
British Airways had already cancelled all domestic and European flights between 10am and 5pm.
There are also delays and cancellations across Europe, with airports including Amsterdam, Geneva, Munich and Copenhagen among those disrupted. Advice to passengers, as always, is to check with airlines.
