Henry Smith, Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Crawley, has abseiled 100-feet down a hotel while dressed as Spider-man.
Henry joined by a host of other intrepid souls who were raising money for St Catherine’s Hospice.
Also taking the plunge were colleagues from RH10 Mantra Magazine and hospice chief executive Giles Tomsett, who was dressed as Zorro.
Henry said: “Going over the edge of Crawley’s Sandman Hotel 100 feet above the ground was worth it to help raise funds for St Catherine’s Hospice.
“I am so very grateful to everyone who has made a donation on my fundraising page; the current total is more than £310 – all donations to St Catherine’s, however large or small, are greatly appreciated and every penny makes a difference.
“I was also pleased to get a unique view of the town I love from the top of the hotel – I am proud to call Crawley my home.”
It’s not too late to make a donation. Log on to Henry’s fundraising page to sponsor him.
