Staplecross says goodbye to teacher Sue

Children and staff at Staplecross School bid a fond farewell to a popular teacher after nearly 24 years of service.

Sue Angus, who has been teaching for 39 years, has taught Reception and Years 1 and 2 pupils at the school since 1986

They held an Easter tea party to say goodbye to Mrs Angus and some of the children gave her presents and sang a farewell song to her.

Children also wrote down some of their memories of Mrs Angus during their early school years.

The school said all the staff, pupils and community appreciated the time and devotion Mrs Angus had given and everyone was going to miss her.
