Students focus on life of Einstein

'This Quotable Man' by Loretta Grace focused on the life of Albert Einstein and was in recognition of the world 'Year of Physics'.

The pupils decorated the school hall with stars and planets and were involved with the acting and music on the day.

Staff lent their help from supporting pupils to making props and costumes.

Loretta said: "Taking the opportunity of Einstein visiting America, music lessons this term have involved us in studying Country and Western music including an internet visit via the classroom smart-board, with different songs from this genre's many great artists being played in assemblies - some have enjoyed it, others have not, but all have been excited at taking part in the ever-popular line dancing."

There were also presentations to students and pupils who are leaving the school this year.
