A special tribute to the television blockbuster Downton Abbey - featuring two brothers from Ashington - is to be screened by ITV on Monday.
Five-year-olds Zac and Oliver Barker, who play the role of Master George Crawley in the hit series, took to the red carpet with the rest of the star-studded cast at a BAFTA tribute show recorded at London’s Richmond Theatre back in August. Now the show, hosted by Jonathan Ross, is to be screened before next week’s long-anticipated Downton Abbey Christmas special. It will be aired on ITV on Monday December 21 at 9pm. The boys’ mum Clare said it was ‘a magical night.’
