Sussex Police warn residents to ‘remain vigilant’ after Paris attacks
Sussex’s Deputy Chief Constable has warned the county’s residents to ‘remain vigilant’ and report any suspicious behaviour.
Commenting on the attacks in France on Friday evening (November 13) DCC Olivia Pinkney said, “Sussex Police’s thoughts are with the victims and families of those affected by the terrorist attacks in France in which, according to current reports, more than 120 people tragically lost their lives.
“Our thoughts are also with all the French people and our colleagues in Paris who are dealing with this horrific situation.
“We are continuing to monitor the situation following the attacks.
“We would urge the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious behaviour or activity straightaway by calling the confidential anti-terrorist hotline on 0800 789 321 or 999 in an emergency.”
