From Mrs Trunchball, James and his giant peach and The Witches to Fantastic Mr Fox, The Twits, Matilda and George and his Marvellous Medicine they were all there to enjoy ‘dress’ up day’ at school.
Parents joined the school for a celebration assembly in the morning and then stayed to share costumes and listen to extracts from the books.

Hide AdThere is a chance to buy books at school this week with the book fair open on yesterday, tomorrow and Thursday.
Tomorrow there is a special ‘sleepy story time’ activity when pupils will return to school dressed for bed in their pyjamas to listen to a story.
And on Thursday ‘buddy’ reading partners are teaming up from different classes for a story session and there will be a last chance to buy books at the book fair which is open for business from 3.15pm until 3.45pm.
On Friday book week ends with ‘books for breakfast’.
There will be pancakes to eat and a final chance for pupils to share their favourite stories of the week.
