This is why ambulance crews were seen at Horsham beauty spot

Reports on social media claimed that multiple ambulance crews responded to an incident at Leechpool Woods.

A spokesperson for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "I can confirm we responded to a call to Leechpool Woods in Horsham to reports a person had suffered an ankle injury.

"Ambulance crews including our Hazardous Area Response Team attended the scene and the person was assessed and treated before being taken to hospital."
