This week’s M23 road closures - here’s all you need to know

Work is continuing to turn part of the M23 around Gatwick into a ‘smart motorway’.

From today (Monday, November 19) there will be lane closures for three nights, leading to a full closure of the junction 10 southbound exit slip on the M23 between 10pm and 4am.

A signed diversion route will be in place via junction 10a and back.

On Thursday (November 22) for two nights, there will be a lane 1 closure of the junction 10 northbound entry slip road on the M23 between 10pm and 4am.

There will also be work on the east side of the junction 10 roundabout.

A signed diversion route will be in place via junction 10a and back.

There will be a full overnight weekend closure on December 7, 8 and 9 between 9pm and 6am (5am, December 10).

There will be a full diversion route in place from junction 6 of the M25 via the A22, A264 to junction 10 of the M23 and from junction 10 via the A2011, London Road, Airport Way into Gatwick Airport.
