Time called on clock restoration
KIRDFORD'S £750,000 church refurbishment programme is almost complete and the renovated clockface is now back in place on the restored tower.
The restoration project was started six years ago and a service to celebrate its completion will be held on June 28, at the Patronal Festival of St John the Baptist.
Decorators have finished their work on the inside of the church and the clockface has been hauled back up the restored tower.
