Top award givento local bubbly
Charles Palmer has won a major award for sparkling wine produced at its Winchelsea vineyard. Their sparkling Brut has just received a gold award and critic’s choice in the 2014 Sommelier Wine Awards.
The achievement won praise from Alex Clarke, at the George Hotel in Rye, who commented: “Not bad for their first vintage!”
