TRAFFIC ALERT: Long M23 delays after crash

DRIVERS heading north towards the M25 can expect severe delays along the M23.

An accident at the junction of the M23 and M25 (junction seven) is causing an estimated two-mile tailback south from the junction down to the Redhill aerodrome.

The sliproad onto the M25 anti-clockwise is closed.

All traffic is having to go clockwise towards junction eight, with cars needing to go anti-clockwise having to do a U-turn at the next junction.

As of 8.30pm on August 15 the accident had been cleared and the M23 was running smoothly again.
