A23 collision in Mid Sussex leads to arrest

A collision on the A23 in Mid Sussex has led to an arrest, according to Sussex Roads Police.

The force tweeted at 3pm yesterday afternoon (May 9) that there had been a single vehicle road traffic collision at approximately 6pm on Friday.

It happened on the A23 northbound in Albourne, near Hurstpierpoint and Hassocks.

According to Sussex Roads Police, a woman was arrested at the scene after a positive breath test.

The tweet said: "Any witnesses or dash cam footage please contact Sussex Police quoting cad 1317 of 08/05/2020."
