All rail lines shut between Horsham and Epsom due to flooding

Flooding has forced the closure of the railway in both directions between Horsham and Epsom.

Operator Southern Rail is urging passengers to find an alternative route, warning users ‘please allow plenty of extra time’.

All services between Horsham, Dorking and Epsom have been suspended due to the incident.

A spokesman for Southern Rail said: “Lines between Horsham and Epsom remain shut due to flooding. We’re unable to run services between these stations until further notice.

“Tickets will be accepted on the following Metrobus routes: 21 and 22 between Dorking, Leatherhead and Epsom, 93 between Horsham, Warnham and Dorking, Route 318 between Tattenham Corner and Epsom .

“You can also use TfL Bus route 465 between Dorking and Leatherhead.”
