County travel and weather update - delays on the A24

Delays are being reported on the A24 northbound near Washington, owing to the A27 being closed near Shoreham.

Northbound traffic is moving slowly near Capel, after a crash around 9am.

Traffic is also being held up in both directions on the A272 near Cowfold - temporary traffic lights are causing delays between the Coach House roundabout and the crossroads at Buck Barn.

There are no reported problems on Southern train routes.

Weather today will be cloudy with occasional heavy rain, according to the Met Office.
